Sourcing Manager Africa

Multinational in the fashion/retail industry.

Functions:
- - To source and identify suitable suppliers from different African countries (Tanzania , Uganda , Kenya, Ethiopia , Botswana , Malawi etc…).
- - To visit different suppliers to see their potential strength and asses their price, quality .lead time level & their suitability to work with TW.
- - To work together with Product manager on price negotiation and make sure all TW quality system-procedures are understood-followed by the suppliers.
- - To support them where ever technical-quality assistance required, organize the inspection activities to make sure right time shipments are achieved.
- - To start develop different samples with potential suppliers to see their quality –price level to make use for TW.

Requirements:
- - At least 10 years with a strong working experience in Garment sourcing, production field with minimum 5 years working experience in Africa.
- - Prior working experience in Morocco, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, and Tunisia would be added advantage for this position.
- - Diploma or Bachelor Degree educational qualification in Textile field is required.
