Product (Software) Development Manager, Midrand, R35000 > R45000 neg. Product (Software) Development Manager, Midrand, R35000 > R45000 neg. A big Technology company is looking for a fast paced dynamic person who possess good people management skills; business acumen and advanced in technology concepts. You will effectively investigate, develop and maintain the company’s products against industry standards and client requirements. You will define & achieve strategic and operational objectives for the working environment Management. You will meet customer’s expectations (Service Level’s Agreements). Education: A Bachelors degree in Engineering in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology. Experience: A minimum of 10 years + experience covering: • Appropriate industry experience. • Strategic / operational planning & execution. • Staff management. • IT development & IT infrastructure management in a software development environment. • Business development. Organisational: • Achievement orientated. • Have a ‘service’ mentality. • Enthusiastic. • Excellent team and motivational skills. • High energy and drive to succeed. Primary duties and responsibilities: Define & achieve strategic and operational objectives for the development department. Effectively manage staff and company’s resources. Keep abreast of technology development and ensure appropriate technology is used by the company. Ensure system design and architecture is optimal for the company’s strategy and objectives. Deliver development solutions & amendments those meets the business requirements and are in line with the companies/clients IT guidelines.
