Software Development Manager Brief Description of the Job: • To head up and lead a team of developers, analysts and testers for all of the applications • Ensure the team creates and maintain quality and reliable applications for their business unit • This person will be the main interface between IT and the business owner of the specific Business Unit • Using their expert knowledge, they will direct changes to the systems, manage resources, budgets, vendors and deliverables Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure the quality of all the Sub-systems in their Business Unit • Develop and maintain a technology plan for their Business Unit • Implement the architectural strategy • Assist in compiling development standards • Approve all Systems Designs for the Business Unit (Projects and Changes) • Liaise with the Business owner and discuss changes to the systems • Moderate code inspection sessions for their domain • Keep domain “Activity list” up to date • Follow the SDLC • Attend and Participate in meetings • Ensure the systems documentation of the Business Unit is up to date • Develop and Maintain an IT induction program for your Business Unit • Budget Performance Disclaimer: Please note: a)Only Short-Listed applicants will be contacted.
