Systems Developer Role Profile: System Developer Job Title : System Developer Department : Operations & Information Systems Reports To : Senior Developer PURPOSE OF JOB To support develop and maintain in-house computer systems to meet business and operational needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Process Management  Develops computer systems in accordance with development specifications.  Tests development of software prior to beta testing to ensure system functionality is in line with the development specifications.  Maintains released software to correct bugs and resolve problems.  Maintains company Intranet and Web infrastructure.  Develops and maintains operational reports whilst ensuring accurate and efficient calls to the system database.  Monitors’ functioning of the systems to ensure it operates in conformance with the development specifications.  Performs maintenance tasks for optimisation and performance checks on the systems database to ensure optimal usage of the systems.  Keeps abreast of development and changes in technology and platforms. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  No supervisory responsibility QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Minimum of 2-3 years systems development experience in the following areas: SQL Server, Visual Studio C#, Microsoft Dot.net Framework; or Microsoft equivalent certification  Sharepoint Development Experience 1 – 2 years, certification would be an advantage  Delphi experience will be an advantage Disclaimer: Please note: a)Only Short-Listed applicants will be contacted.
